It’s a new day, a new week, and we are on

Welcome to the pleasure dome or something like that.
Been away (not courtesy of HMP) just slid into the abyss of nothingness.
Stuff is happening.
Bath has suddenly come alive with gigs.
Unfortunately I keep missing them.
Richard Hawley played the Pavilion as did Elizabeth Frazer.
Love to hear from anyone who saw them at their gigs and give a review.
Also Patti Smith at the Forum.
Good news though it is just a matter of days to the start of End of the Road festival. So I can see Patti there, maybe Richard will do a surprise gig.
He DJ’d there a couple of years back, be nice to see him play with his band.
Also looking forward to Lanterns on the Lake, Peter Broderick, Abigail Washington, Low Anthem, Jonathan Wilson and Roy Harper.
There was a time back in the 60’s he was a standard issue with every festival.
Used to get bored of ‘How I Hate the White Man’.
Now…
He better play it, cos I need to get a dose of it.

Now talking of gigs, part of the new style website, shows gigs I have been to.
Some dates and locations are missing. NEED YOUR HELP.
Can you fill em in ????
alright

The weather has affected so many festivals this year, I hope and plead that it’s the usual beautiful blue sky at the Larmer Tree.

Being positive.
Can we agree that Danny Boyle is a genius.
The opening ceremony was the godlike genius that is Danny Boyle.
Music great, theme great, surprises great, the queen as in her Maj was great, James Bond – great.
Missing was Rolling Stones doing ‘Gimme Shelter’ or ‘It’s Only Rock n Roll’ could’ve been good.
Julian Cope in full effect could’ve been good
Radiohead…

but other than that, give the man the keys.
His attention to detail… amazing.
so come on y’all
be good to hear from you… I think.
